Mariah Carey Premiers Vibrant Dance Video for “A No No” Track (Review)

Mariah Carey released a brand new video for her ‘Caution’ album track “A No No” today and it’s the kind of video that makes you want to break dance to.

The new music video looks quite retro with colourful and glittery visuals all over the place. The music video takes place in a subway train car where Mariah Carey is joined by a handful of dancers to dance freely to the song. There is nothing not sparkling about this video. The train car itself is covered in graffiti done in various colours.

Mariah Carey is dressed in a gown with turquoise and pink scales that glitter as she moves. Her gown is low-cut, giving prominence to her bosom which makes a unique feature in Mariah’s music videos. The group of dancers make up of multi-ethnicities adding a touch of vibrancy to the video. A girl with vitiligo also appears in the video. One highlight from the “A No No” video would be when a random guy appears with a goldfish in a glass fish bowl in the middle of the train car and joins the dance. This goldfish will make into books as the first goldfish to dance to a Mariah Carey song.

The music video was first premiered on an episode of Good Morning America aired on March 8, 2019. The video is closing in on 1 million views within 24 hours since release.
