Yelawolf really does make this Sunday bloody with his latest freestyle “Bloody Sunday” released in promotion of his upcoming ‘Trunk Muzik III’ album.
In this new spitfire release, Yelawolf seems to be taking shots at a few big names in the industry. His subjects are, Post Malone, G-Eazy, MGK, Game, and pays homage to his label owner-Eminem, several rappers who have perished such as Grip Plyaz, Speakerfoxxx, and Lenny’s Bar.
Yelawolf goes hard at Post Malone on this new freestyle;
“Who else? I would diss Post Malone but he don’t even rap
Fuck it, fuck Post Malone, just because, let’s see if he answers back”
But, then again, Yela goes harder at G-Eazy mocking his macho;
“Hold up, G… easy
I can’t let this Tom Cruise lookin’ motherfucker just paddle by
Don’t know if I’m watching Vanilla Ice or Vanilla Sky”
However, the most interesting part is when Yelawolf says that he will pick up the fight for Eminem against G-Eazy. Further down the freestyle, Yelawolf says he will also spill his mind about Machine Gun Kelly AKA MGK in his upcoming ‘Trunk Muzik III’ album. MGK and Eminem had a stellar rap beef last year and resulted in “KILLSHOT” and “Rap Devil,” two of the steamiest battle raps the industry has seen in a while.
Yelawolf does not hold back with the compliments to the Shady Records boss-Eminem. He calls himself a “prodigy” of an “anomaly” that is Slim Shady. An anomaly is an abnormal thing, and so is Slim Shady in the rap game! One of the best tribute lines we have heard for Eminem in a while!
