Watch BTS’ RM Rap in ‘Map of the Soul: Persona’ Album Trailer

The K-Pop supergroup BTS announced their upcoming studio album ‘Map of the Soul: Persona’ two weeks back in an official press release. This will be BTS’ 7th studio album, and one of the most anticipated album releases of 2019.

Today, BTS member RM dropped a teaser trailer of the upcoming album. In this fiery 3-minute clip, RM is seen drooping some fast verses in dynamic and colourful backgrounds. The 24-year-old star also shifts between Korean and English for these bars.

The song title is expected to be the title track of the album ‘Persona.’ RM is heard rapping in English; “Who the hell am I, I just wanna go/ I just wanna fly/ I just wanna give you all the voices till I die/ I just wanna give you all the shoulders when you cry/ Persona.”

This new upbeat track seems to be about discovering yourself and being who you are. Love thyself and the correct people will love you for it. RM also advices us to embrace our weaknesses and don’t be afraid to make mistakes. This album really seems to be a discovery of the soul, and ‘Persona’ is just the hint of what is to come.
