Halsey had major success with her last single “Without Me” which she performed on countless stages from Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show to Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2018 to The Voice 2018 and more. She returns once more to The Voice stage to perform her brand new single “Nightmare” and it was intense!
The Voice season 16 concluded last Tuesday (May 21, 2019) and Maelyn Jorman was crowned the winner of the season. There were many amazing performances from the contestants as well as some world class superstars. Taylor Swift and Brendon Urie performed their hit collaboration “ME!,” Jonas Brother got all macho with their comeback single “Cool,” BTS performed their global hit “Boy With Luv,” OneRepublic performed their latest single “Rescue Me” and so on.
Halsey was one of the performers of the night and she delivered a stunning performance of her brand new single “Nightmare.” The song is an all-female-empowerment anthem and a fierce punk-rock track at that. Halsey even had an all-female backup dance crew to convince her message.
The stage design at The Voice 2019 finale for “Nightmare” is also complimentary to the theme of the song, as it resembled chaos and disturbances women endure around the world.

This is not Halsey’s first time on the stage performing “Nightmare.” Her debut live performance happened at The Armory stage in Minnesota.
