Watch Justin Bieber Cover “Tear Drops on My Guitar” & “IKYWT” by Taylor Swift

There has been a on again and off again friendship between these two Pop stars over the years. They have been photographed together at concerts way back and that has been about it. They are obviously people of whole different interests and attitudes, besides music. However, the distant relationship has not affected Justin Bieber being a fan of Taylor Swift’s music from Country era to Pop era.

Several months ago Justin Bieber released a short clip on Instagram of him singing a few lines of “Tear Drops On My Guitar” by Taylor Swift from her debut studio album ‘Taylor Swift’. Watch the clip below.

Justin is riding shot gun in a car and “Tear Drops On My Guitar” plays on the radio. Justin Bieber catches up on the song at the chorus, singing; “He’s the reason for the tear drops on my guitar” and getting quite soulful while he does that too.

And very recently, Martin Garrix, who is a very close friend to Justin Bieber released another short clip of Justin Bieber singing “I Knew You Were Trouble” while playing his acoustic guitar. “IKYWT” is a Pop track from the ‘Red’ album by Taylor Swift and is from an era where Taylor is moving from Country to Pop. It’s only a 10 second clip and he really does a good job at covering Taylor. Wish we got to see more. Watch the video below.

Taylor Swift did notice and liked the first cover “Tear Drops On My Guitar” which was posted on Instagram. We do not know if she saw the second cover, as she is currently enjoying some free time with Tom Hiddleston.

All things of the past aside, we would love to see a collaboration from Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift. It’s quite overdue.
