“Die For Me” is the seventh track on Post Malone’s 2019 album ‘Hollywood’s Bleeding’ released on September 6, 2019. The song features vocals by Future and Halsey, making it Post Malone’s first collaboration with Halsey.

Post Malone’s third studio album ‘Hollywood’s Bleeding’ contains 17 tracks including some worldwide hit singles such as “Wow.” “Goodbyes” featuring Young Thug, and “Circles.” The album also featured “Sunflower” track from the soundtrack to ‘SpiderMan-Into the Spider-Verse’ movie. Notable featured artists on the album are Future, Halsey, Lil Baby, Meek Mill, Ozzy Osbourne, Travis Scott, SZA and Swae Lee.

“Die For Me” talks about the false promises of a relationship. That significant person who said they will die for you, could easily abandon you when the water gets rough.

Halsey’s verse on the track lays out the POV of the girl in this relationship. According to her, Post Malone has not been very faithful in the relationship. Halsey found out about all the girls in Post’s DM (direct messages), a function usually appearing in the Instagram social media platform.
