Watch Billie Eilish’s Gravity-Defying “bad guy” Performance on SNL

We have seen various mindblowing stage setups for Billie Eilish’s live acts throughout her short career. Her eerie persona, the cynical lyrics and her mysterious voice, all complement her stage setups. Billie Eilish appeared on the latest edition of Saturday Night Live on September 28, 2019, and took live performances to a whole other level.

In this Woody Harrelson-hosted episode of SNL, Billie Eilish performed her hit single “bad guy” from her debut studio album ‘WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?.’ The 18-year-old Billie appeared inside what seemed like a room, typical, with three walls and a ceiling. She wore her signature extra-baggy t-shirt and shorts in full black. She had the support of her brother Finneas for live music for this performance.

What was fascinating about this performance was to be seen a little into the act when Billie put one of her feet on the wall. She then calmly proceeded to place both her feet on the wall and stood perfectly straight on it. Next, she moved on to the roof, and to the other wall and back to the floor. She did not break stride or disturb her eerie dance routine throughout this gravity-defying walk.

The camera is fixated on the room and we are left clueless as to how she performed this miracle. The audience was too fixated on figuring out the physics behind this, they almost forgot what a stunning delivery of vocals for “bad guy” Billie Eilish did live on stage. Watch the video below.

Billie also went on to perform her other hit single “i love you” live on Saturday Night Live.
