Russ continues his streak of releasing new singles with the brand new track “BEST ON EARTH” and this one features vocals by rapper BIA.
“Bes On Earth” is the 11th single by Russ in 2019 and follows his last month’s release “OLD DAYS.” The song is about a pure lust for each other. Both singers talk about their fascination for each other’s bodies and the carnal affairs between them. There is pretty much nothing not sexual in the lyrics of the song, and the music video, released on November 5, compliments the lyrics.
Russ and BIA gave a shoutout to Rihanna in the song admiring her tattoos and the Grammy-winning song “Run The Town” with Jay-Z. Rihanna, also clapped back on Instagram; “thank you @bia and @russ for my new fav song #BestOnEarth,” wrote Rihanna.
Actress and model, Bella Thorne also posted a video of herself dancing to the track on Instagram. The song has also inspired a new cultural trend and hashtag #bestonearthchallenge encouraging women to share a video of the best version of themselves.
The music video for “Best On Earth” features Russ and BIA surrounded in models in skimpy dresses and lingerie and flaunting all their curves. A fun fact revealed by BIA, later on, is that she was actually soaked in an ice-cold bathtub for the music video; “honestly it was so worth it 🙌🏾🐐” added her on her Instagram post. The chorus of the song is shared by both artists and has a different tone for each of the artists, which is a nice change of pace.
