Watch Charlie Puth Cover Maroon 5’s “Memories” Live on Elvis Duran Show

Singer/songwriter Charlie Put appeared on the Elvis Duran show to talk about his life and his music. But, of course, he had to perform a song. And to our listening pleasure, Charlie Puth picked to cover Maroon 5’s massive hit “Memories.”

Maroon 5 released “Memories” as the leading single off their upcoming seventh studio album. The melodious tune and the nostalgic lyrics became an instant hit. The song talks about relationships–all kinds of it. The song reminds us of the people who have come to pass in our life. The people who have made an impact on our lives. The people who we have loved and lost. The people who are still with us. It is a celebration of human relationships.

Charlie Puth stood up in front of his keyboard and performed an equally serenading cover of “Memories” by Maroon 5. “I just learned the song on the car ride over,” said Charlie Puth before commencing his cover. This explains why he had to keep looking at the lyrics to the song throughout his act. Watch below.

Charlie Puth did not only cover Maroon 5, but also went on to perform his songs as well. The crooner performed his latest release “Mother” on the live show.
