The YouTube star and rapper, KSI is at the cusp of releasing his debut solo studio album titled ‘Dissimulation.’ The album is scheduled for release on May 22, 2020. A track on the album, titled “Millions,” is dubbed KSI’s most personal and one of the “hardest songs to make.” We will dig into the lyrics and attempt to understand why.
‘Dissimulation’ album release was preceded by four singles, namely; “Down Like That” featuring Rick Ross and Lil Baby, “Wake Up Call” featuring Trippie Redd, “Poppin” featuring Lil Pump and Smokepurpp, and “Houdini” featuring Swarmz and Tion Wayne. However, the song under discussion today has no features on it.
In “Millions,” KSI opens up about the intimate issues in his family such as his public feud with his own brother Deji. He also touches on his girlfriend and praises her for sticking by him through thick and thin.

In the hook of the song, KSI lets us know that behind his smile there are a million and one issues going on. Despite having millions of fans all over the world and a successful launch of a musical career, he is still not feeling 100% about himself. May be there are other things weighing down on him.
In the first verse of the song, KSI emphasizes age-old wisdom “money can’t buy happiness.” He adds to it saying that money may be able to rent happiness.
The verse goes on to touch on KSI’s feud with his own brother Deji. He seems to be devastated by the fact that it happened at all. He says that even though he wanted to bury it all, his brother kept on rehashing things and adding fuel to the fire. It eventually turned KSI’s own parents against him; “You turned my blood against me.”
KSI ends the verse by closing down that entire chapter. He gives the win to his brother, because he just cannot take more of it. Take the win and leave him be, is his final message to Deji.
In the second verse, however, the theme changes. KSI focuses on his girlfriend and there is nothing but love there. He admits that he is not the easiest person to deal with and on top of that all the drama with his family too. He praises her for sticking by his side when things were tough and because of that he will stick by her side in the forevers to come.
KSI also says that he “really made it” alluding to his success as a social media personality, influencer, and even an artist. It is good to recognize one’s achievements and appreciate yourself once in a while.
