The song talks about men who are useless. Doja Cat talks about men who don’t have a job so they crash up at your place. They don’t have money, so they cannot share the rent. Even worse so, they are so broke that they cannot even afford to buy them their food. So they snoop through Doja’s fridge diving into her food.

Doja Cat realizes that being in love does not have to make up for the fact that she has to take care of a broke man who known nothing about responsibilities. In the past, she may have chosen to put up with the BS of these guys to crash in her bed because she thought they had something going on. But all these stories almost have the same ending: the guys using her and leaving her.
So, no more.
In the two verses of the song, Doja Cat affirms that she is not getting back with these desperate men who latch on to her like leeches and live off of her. She will make better choices and most importantly, will listen to her friends. Because friends can see through these guys while she is blinded by romance.
Doja cat is furious at the fact that these guys have the audacity to cheat on her while eating off of her plate. She tells them that she is not going to be their mommy and definitely not going to be their hobby.
