With everything heating up towards the 57th Grammy Awards tonight, we almost forgot the ‘On The Road Again Tour 2015’ by boy band One Direction. The tour started off in Sydney, Australia last night and it was pretty epic. The One Direction members performed to a what seemed to be like a full-house stadium.
Reports say that the boy band was on another level performing last night, bringing their A game to the Allianz Stadium. One Direction performed many tracks from their latest album ‘Four‘, including ‘Steal My Girl’, ‘Story of My Life’, ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ and guess what? They performed Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk” as well. That was probably the highlight of the night as the crowd went berserk. The concert came to an end with a beautiful performance of “Best Song Ever”.
The crowd mainly consisted of teenage girls, as usual and as expected. However the turn out was pretty amazing.
All-in-all we could sum up the Sydney concert as a success and a good start to the tour. Another show will take place tonight (Feb 8) on the same venue, and then will move on to Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth. I believe tickets are still available on these arenas.
