We always knew that Kendrick Lamar had the creative juices flowing inside of him. When it comes to K Dot music, he does everything right, and he never ceases to surprise us. The last time he was on The Colbert Report, Kendrick Lamar performed a stunning untitled song. Last night’s return of the Compton rapper to the Late Show with Stephen Colbert proved to be even more thrilling, as he paced through his new album ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’ in under 5 minutes. Essentially this medley consisted of verses from the tracks included in his new album. Watch the electrifying performance below.
‘To Pimp A Butterfly’ is a magnificent piece of musical work. The intricate meaning behind the songs and how a whole story unfolds at the end of the album is something special with the album.
As Kendrick Lamar continues to impress us, we continue to adore and respect him more and more as an artist.
