Ed Sheeran Confirms Album Title ‘Divide’ And Announces Release Date

Ed Sheeran has finally decided to break the silence about the new album title. He dropped hints as to what the album title could be and we did get it right. Ed Sheeran released his debut studio album in 2011 titled ‘+’ or ‘Plus’ which really put him on the map. Three years later the prodigy releases second studio album titled ‘x’ or ‘Multiply’ which is certified 9x platinum in UK and 4x platinum in US. And three years later, in 2017, Ed Sheeran announces his third studio album titled ‘÷’ or ‘Divide.’

Ed Sheeran released the first two promotional singles last Friday named “Castle On The Hill” and “Shape Of You.” Then it started the guessing game with regards to the track list of the album and Ed did not keep us waiting. He released the full track list yesterday along with the album title written in pieces of paper.

However the sadder news is that there is quite a wait till the ‘Divide’ album actually drops out. According to Ed’s post on Facebook, the album is set out to release on 3rd March, 2017. But on the plus side this would mean that there will be at least two more singles released before the album release to keep the buzz going. And that is exciting news.

We will keep counting days till the release of the album and stay in touch with us for more updates on this front. In the meantime tell us in the comments what are you most excited about this album.
