Taylor Swift Appoves James Bay’s Cover of “Delicate” on BBC Live Lounge

James Bay was the latest guest on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge and he went on to perform an acoustic version of his own hit “Us” and then a stripped down version of Taylor Swift’s “Delicate.” During the live act on May 24, James Bay was introduced by Clara Amfo, and he went on to perform for 8 minutes.

Us” is the latest single by James Bay from his 2018 album ‘Electric Light’ released on May 18. The other performance is a cover of “Delicate” by Taylor Swift from her latest album ‘Reputation.’

Taylor Swift got to hear about this cover and she checked it out and she loved it. She took a moment from her busy ‘Reputation’ tour schedule to Tweet it out to her fans.

“Amazing,” she wrote while tagging James Bay on the post, and the 13 clapping emojis suggest that Taylor thinks James did an excellent job.

If you noticed the little additional touch at the end of the cover, you do know your music. That was a slice of the chorus from Drake’s massive hit “One Dance” from 2017. We would never know why James Bay picked the most random filler song here, but it seems to just blend in perfectly with “Delicate.” Most likely, Drake approves this cover as well.

As fans, what are your opinions on this cover? Does he have your approval? If yes, comment so below and if not, comment why below.

If you loved this cover of “Delicate” as much as we did, make sure to share it amongΒ your friends.
