tekashi 6iz9ine fefe nicki minaj lyrics review hot video

6ix9ine, Nicki Minaj and Murda Beatz Premier “FEFE” Video (Lyrics Review)

“FEFE” marks the first collaboration between self-appointed ‘King of New York’ 6ix9ine AKA Tekashi 6ix9ine and ‘Queen of New York’ Nicki Minaj. The song is not affiliated with any album as of yet, however, has gained a massive popularity on social media. Just after 20 hours of release the music video for “FEFE” has accumulated over 9.5 million views on YouTube alone. The snowballing effect on popularity might have been affected by the shocking kidnapping and beating down of 6ix9ine earlier today.

The Murda Beatz produced track marks the second intervention with Nicki Minaj, the first time being on her track “No Frauds.

The music video for “FEFE” features a lot of colorful backdrops including a cave entrance decorated with inflated condoms. The video repeatedly shows 6ix9ine eating ice cream cones, and at times, swallowing them in whole as well.

The lyrics to “FEFE” are very explicit, hence proceed at your own caution.

Lyrics Review of “FEFE” by 6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj

Verse 1

These very explicit lyrics talk about sexual activities of the artist with a girl named “Keke.” This is the second time a girl named “Keke” stormed the Internet. Drake’s viral sensation “In My Feelings” also speaks about a “Keke.”

Tekashi continues to sing about the sexual activities he does with this woman, but how he cannot make her his wife. He also talks very nicely to her, so that she won’t start arguments.

Verse 2

In the second verse of “FEFE,” 6ix9ine speaks about his enemies in the industry. Since 2017, 6ix9ine has a raging feud with artist Trippie Redd. In this song, 6ix9ine sings about ‘killing people for real.’ It is unclear that the release of this song has a relationship with the kidnap, robbery and physical abuse 6ix9ine received today.

Verse 3

Nicki Minaj’s verse in “FEFE” is no mild game. These lyrics contain an abundance of references to female genitalia. Nicki also shouts out to Takeshi, A$AP Rocky, Khloe Kardashian and Tinashe.

Khloe Kardashian took to Twitter to express her excitement about this reference.

Verse 5

Both 6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj jump in on these lyrics, where they reference Justin Bieber’s “Eenie Meenie” song as well as the popular nursery rhyme. 6ix9ine had received a Benz from his ex and he is trying to find a person to ride in it with him. If this third person dislikes either him or Nicki, he swears to kick them out the door.

Outro

In the outro Nicki Minaj gives a shout out to her record label ‘Young Money Cash Money,’ and 6ix9ine shouts out to his label ‘Scum Gang.’ ‘Scum’ here is an abbreviation for ‘Society Can’t Understand Me.’

These weird lyrics, video and this unlikely collaboration have made “FEFE” become an instant success in social media. We are waiting to see how this track ranks in the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
