imagine dragons zero lyric video review

Check the Tech-Savvy “Zero” Lyric Video by Imagine Dragons (Review)

Imagine Dragons teamed up to create the end-credits theme song for the upcoming movie ‘Ralph Breaks The Internet’ by Walt Disney Studios. The new song is pumped up, upbeat but speaks about the life of a ‘Zero.’

Along with the release of “Zero” single, Imagine Dragons also premiered a very creative lyric video for the track. Going with the Tech/Internet theme from the movie, the “Zero” lyric video shows lyrics to the song appearing on the Internet and on the Desktop of a computer screen. The lyrics travel from YouTube screen to comments section to Genius lyrics to icons in the Desktop and memes as well. Notice how it shows a similar icon to Internet Explorer opening when the song says “I’m looking for a way out.”

IMDb gives the storyline to ‘Ralph Breaks The Internet’ as;

“Taking place six years after saving the arcade from Turbo’s vengeance, the Sugar Rush arcade cabinet has broken, forcing Ralph and Vanellope to travel to the Internet via the newly-installed Wi-Fi router in Litwak’s Arcade to retrieve the piece capable of saving the game.”

The song speaks about the hardships of growing up. Finding a balance between things in life, accomplishing different things in your twenties, and not being able to stand up for yourself are some of the themes appearing in this song. Dan Reynolds, the lead singer of Imagine Dragons said that he could relate to this song very much when he was writing it.

“I think it also just wrote itself very easily because I was able to go to a place that was very vulnerable for me, which was all of school growing up. I never was in any subgroup; I wasn’t a popular kid, I wasn’t a band kid, I wasn’t good at sports. I just kinda was someone who went home by myself and wrote music every day and started a band. That was my existence: a garage band.” – Dan Reynolds on “Zero”

We are hooked to this song’s catchy beat and thoughtful lyrics. Let us know how you feel about this song in the comments below and if you like this article, do share it with your friends.
