Travis Scott’s “SICKO MODE” Music Video is as Sicko as It Gets (Review)

There is no easy way to explain what is going on in the “SICKO MODE” music video by Travis Scott and Drake. The song appears in Scott’s latest album ‘ASTROWORLD’ and the video is quite out of this world as well. Directed by Dave Meyers and Travis Scott himself, we can say that the music video perfectly captures the essence of the song lyrics and meaning.

The music video is heavy in scenery, colours, edits, CGI, quirky graphics and of course, semi-nude women. “SICKO MODE” music video does feel like a continuation of his last video for “Stop Trying to be God,” directed by same Dave Meyers. The video is going viral at the moment, grabbing over 5 million views within 24 hours of release.

The video takes place in Houston, Texas, a shout out to Travis Scott’s hometown. The 6 God and Scott are seen rapping and singing in different places and scenarios that befit the lyrics.

The video continues to some bizarre imagery, including Drake presenting the ‘all seeing eye’ hand gesture as well.

Travis Scott presents his women whom he has ‘earned through the records he produced.’ And there are some fine looking women circling around Scott in the video.

Last but not least, we also get a few seconds of a shirtless and sick-pack filled Travis Scott doing an extreme headbang whipping his braided hair curls all over. The sicko mode just never ends in this video.
