Young Joyner Lucas and Chris Brown Take On School Talent Show in “Just Let Go” Video

Returning from a massive collaboration “Lucky You” with Eminem in 2018, Joyner Lucas now joins hands with Chris Brown for the brand new single and video “Just Let Go.” In the music video, we find the two artists, well, their younger selves, rocking a school talent show, singing and dancing.

Joyner Lucas and Chris Brown worked together before on their collaborative album ‘Angels & Demons’ that never released. However, they did release two tracks “Stranger Things” and “I Don’t Die” in early 2018. Next there was only radio silence about the project. This new single “Just Let Go” and the music video is most likely from their dropped album project.

In the music video for “Just Let Go,” Chris Brown and Joyner Lucas, starred by two kids, get on stage at the school talent show to dazzle the audience. We hear Joyner dropping some crazy bars, which are quite outrageous for a school performance. Chris Brown sings “Put your panties and your pride to the side/Want you to f*ck with me (Alright)” and the headmaster loses his head. Fortunately, Joyner finds a magic wand, left by a previous act, and converts everyone to break dance pros. After the duo inflict everyone with their dance virus, they flee away in a Lamborghini. What more could you ask!

Joyner and Chris are also joined by an ensemble of kids who provide the backup dancing around the two.

The song speaks about a guy asking their significant other not to leave them. ‘Let go’ stands to mean letting go of yourself while being in the presence of Chris and Lucas. They assure the girl that she will be hurt no more if she joins them. Sounds a bit sketchy, but not worry, Chris Brown clears the air in a lyric “You worried ’bout sex, I be weedin’ ’em out.”
