Game of Thrones Season 8 Official Trailer Sees All Houses Uniting Against White Walkers

The official trailer for Game of Thrones Season 8 just dropped and our jaws are on the ground too.

In this 2-minute trailer by HBO, we see a lot of interesting things that are about to happen in the upcoming series finale of Game of Thrones TV adaptation based on George R R Martin’s ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ fiction series.

This trailer shows the Khaleesi AKA The Mother of Dragons AKA the Breaker of Chains AKA Daenerys Targaryen joining hands with Jon Snow for the final battle. Afterall, both are of the same blood. And besides those two, we see two massive dragons. Where is Drogon?

In a very small segment on this official trailer, we also see Jaime Lannister muttering something very interesting. We know he has been growing a heart ever since he lost his arm. But in this final season he might be joining the good guys, as he says “I promised to fight for the living. I intend to keep that promise.” We are not shown to whom he says this, but we can very well guess that his sister is in the other corner of the room.

We also get to see small cameos by Sansa Stark, ruling over Winterfell, Tyrion Lannister, probably devicing master plans for the war, the Hound, and a large cameo by Arya Stark. By the looks of it, we are promised a lot more action with the dragons.

It seems to be that all living beings march against the dead. We see the dreadful and slender legs of The Night King as he marches to face the living. Where does this battle occur and who else would pay with their lives at the end of this season is still a mystery to us.

The only part that bothers us in this finale season of Game of Thrones is that sinister smile on the face of Cersei Lannister. We know that she will not give up the Iron Throne without a fight. So what kind of evil plan could she be plotting?

Game of Thrones Season 8 premiers on HBO on April 14, 2019.
