Metallica Announces Aussie and NZ Tour with Slipknot (Venues, Dates and Tickets)

The iconic American heavy metal band Metallica will be joining drums with another American heavy metal and nu metal band Slipknot for their their Down Under leg of their world tour titled ‘WorldWired Tour.’

Metallica announced today that Slipknot band will be joining them for their tour stops in Australia and New Zealand in October 2019. Their return to Australia happens in over 6 years and to New Zealand after 9 years. So, tickets will sell like hotcakes and you can order yours on March 18th.

“It’s about time!! We’re more than excited to announce that we’ll be heading back to Australia and New Zealand in October,” announced Metallica on their official website, announcing the tour.

Venues for ‘Down Under’ Leg of ‘WorldWired Tour’

  1. October 17 – Perth, WA – Optus Stadium
  2. October 20 – Adelaide, SA – Adelaide Oval
  3. October 22 – Melbourne, VIC – Marvel Stadium
  4. October 26 – Sydney, NSW – ANZ Stadium
  5. October 29 – Brisbane, QLD – QSAC
  6. October 31 – Auckland, NZ – Mt. Smart Stadium

Metallica also announced their elite ‘Wherever I May Roam Black Ticket.’ “just one ticket will allow floor access to any Metallica show in this part of the world. Black Ticket holders need only choose the show(s) they would like to attend and make an online reservation no less than 48 hours before the gig.” And a limited number of these Black Tickets will be available priced at $598 AUD.
