SchoolBoy Q Drops an All-Impressive Video for “Numb Numb Juice” (Review)

Well, they did pull off the ‘painting the road while driving’ stunt as shown in the single artwork released a week ago. It looks like a very dangerous stunt which should not be attempted anywhere!

“Numb Numb Juice” has been an instant hit by SchoolBoy Q released as the lead single off of the rapper’s upcoming fifth studio album. The song was first teased on SchoolBoy Q’s Instagram and it has been a fan-favourite since.

The music video released today is a creative concept with the screen divided into four and taunting some messages. The “Numb Numb Juice” music video draws references to several famous occurrences in pop culture. These are, as below;

Elon Musk smoking weed and drinking whiskey on The Joe Rogan Experience. Puff Daddy and Ma$e wearing red jumpsuits in the music video for The Notorious B.I.G.’s 1997 song “Mo’ Money Mo’ Problems.” Tyler, The Creator also makes a cameo, playing the character Rico in the “might have to drop a dime” scene from the 1998 movie Belly. Also Q riffs on the blacklight aesthetic from the “nightclub robbery” scene.

The video also shows some scenes of violence where men are scene attacking or rather sucker punching other men. These K.O. shots seem to have been ripped off of the Internet. In the final scene of the video, SchoolBoy Q ‘bitch-slaps’ a Kung-Fu guy off of a roof top building where he falls to the ground and crashes through the ground to the hell as well.
