Lana Del Rey, Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande have a big hit on their hands with “Don’t Call Me Angel” promotional single from the upcoming ‘Charlie’s Angels’ movie. However, this cover spawned before that epic collaboration, on the BBC Radio1 Live Lounge.
Ariana Grande struck gold with her last album ‘Thank U, Next’ which contained the single “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored.” The song seems to invite the guy to date her, after breaking up with his girlfriend. However, the music video suggested that Ariana Grande was rather interested in the girl than the boy.
Lana Del Rey appeared on BBC Radio1 Live Lounge to perform some of her hit tracks as well as a few covers as per the usual tradition at the Live Lounge. She performed a cover of “Doin’ Time” by Sublime, which later turned into a single on Lana’s new album, ‘Norman Fucking Rockwell.’ Her other cover was Ariana’s hit single “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored,” and she pretty much nailed it in her own terms.
