In an interview with “Way Up,” Cardi B mentioned that the music video cost upwards of $2 million to produce due to their need to keep the production under the radar. The music video was shot in Malibu, although the original plan had been to record outside of the United States.
The very visually pleasing music video for “Bongos,” has both artists in skimpy bikinis, flaunting a lot of curves, and twerking on the sandy shores of Malibu with their equally curvy backup dancers.

On the lyrics side of the song, there is no substance save for bragging about their tight privates and how ready they are to jump the bones of men they find attractive.

The flashy music video has amassed over 6 million views in 24 hours. However, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion will be wishing for a lot more numbers to cover their production costs.
