As the days grow closer and closer to the most anticipated movie release of 2015, “Fifty Shades of Grey”, more and more songs from it’s soundtrack are being released. The Weeknd dropped a new song “Earned It“ just a couple of days ago also from the soundtrack of Fifty Shades of Grey. And today Ellie Goulding releases another song from the movie soundtrack. This song is titled “Love Me Like You Do” and is quite the appropriate song for Fifty Shades of Grey.

This is sexy. “Love Me Like You Do” is quite the opposite to The Weeknd’s “Earned It”. The Weeknd appeals to the darker side of the movie, whereas Ellie Goulding’s new song appeals to a more vibrant aspect of the song. Still the song screams of sex!

Pain? Could it mean? I think so.

Follow me to the dark
Of course Anastasia fears Christian Grey in a sexual sense. But of course she doesn’t care, because she enjoys it so much that she can’t back off. She will follow her to the dark fantasies.
Fading in, fading out
On the edge of paradise
Every inch of your skin is a holy grail I’ve got to find
‘Fading in’ and ‘fading out’ sound quite the reference to being on the edge of consciousness (because of the sweet combination of pain and pleasure?) She is on the edge of ‘paradise’. I give you free will to evaluate the term ‘paradise’ in any way you want. But do apply it to the context of the movie!
Then the song goes on repeat with the following lines;
Love me like you do, love me like you do
Love me like you do, love me like you do
Touch me like you do, touch me like you do
She wants to love her ‘like you do’. Is there a special way of making love? Of course there is in Fifty Shades of Grey. And also touching her ‘like you do’, again means the same thing, if you catch the drift.
So clearly the new song “Love Me Like You Do” screams of sexual activities when put it into the context of the movie. Taken out of context, it is yet another innocent love song. However, now you know better.

Ellie Goulding’s sexy and sensuous voice does a great deal to enhance the effect of this sexy song. Kudos! The Fifty Shades of Grey Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is turning out to be pretty hot and sexy. Cannot wait for the movie to release on Valentine’s Day 2015.
