The Weeknd Where You Belong

The Weeknd “Where You Belong” Snippet From Fifty Shades of Grey Soundtrack

With just 10 more days to the Fifty Shades of Grey movie worldwide premier, we are getting to hear yet another song from the movie soundtrack. Again, The Weeknd takes us on a sexy journey as he sings “Where You Belong”. Prior to this song, The Weeknd also featured on “Earned It” from the Fifty Shades soundtrack and it was HOT. The music video for it was hotter.

Quite emotional and hot, yeah? The only way The Weeknd knows how.

Complete lyrics are not updated since the release of the track. A snippet of the song was released during the past weekend and we got to listen to the first verse of the song.

I feel the blood rushin’ throughout ya body
You see the scars painted over my skin
I’m always numb to the topic of loving
I fell in love with the subject of sin

“Where You Belong” too speaks about the explicit scenes found in the Fifty Shades movie. Straight away The Weeknd gets into the sex, talking about how their bodies are intervened together so tight that they can feel the blood rush. ‘Numb to the topic of loving’ could mean that the singer is immune to mere ‘love’ (Yes, sex!). He wants more than love, as in the movie.

I don’t understand why or what he refers to as being a ‘sin’. If is that he considers the kind of sex he has is a ‘sin’ or something else is a question for me too. If you can riddle it, do leave a comment below.

I’m in control, when you give me your body

Second verse begins with something we all can understand and relate to the movie quite easily. Christian Grey is known to be a control-freak. He wants everything under his control, and the same qualities extend to the bedroom. In fact, the whole Fifty Shades novel is based on this quality of Christian Grey.

So that’a a little lyrics analysis for you. We would love to go through the entire song lyrics once it is available.
