Ed Sheeran John Mayer thinking out loud grammy 2015

Ed Sheeran was unfortunate last night. Being the most appropriate contender for The Album of The Year award at 2015 Grammys, he lost it to Beck. He also lost Best Pop Vocal Album category to Sam Smith. The latter is OK, the former, we are not so sure. Anyway, Ed Sheeran gave a stunning performance of his mega hit single “Thinking Out Loud” at last night’s Grammy Awards, aided by none other than John Mayer himself.

Ed Sheeran killed it, with a little touch of his guitar and supported by John Mayer with vocals and guitar. And what’s more? Herbie Hancock of QuestLove played his drums along with these duo. It was perfect in all levels.

Then the Grammys and the whole audience worldwide got to experience some great music by ELO and Ed Sheeran. They played their hit song “Mr. Blue Sky”, in a classic instrumental induced beat.

Apologies for the low quality, this was the only one available.

Those were some great performances we saw from the 2015 Grammy night. There were many more from artists such as AC/DC, Madonna, Rihanna, Paul McCartney, Kanye West, Beyonce, Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Hozier, Sam Smith, Imagine Dragons and many more. We will bring you the updates in leisure. 2015 Grammy Awards was more of a musical concert than an award show, not that we are complaining or anything.

We are still saddened at the fact that Ed Sheeran didn’t win his much deserved Album of The Year award. “X” album is currently at number 2 on Billboard 200 and ‘Morning Phase’ by Beck is not among the top 200 albums either. Sorry for the rant.

Either way, congratulations to Ed Sheeran for the nominations and the killer performances tonight. Cheers for an amazing 2015.
