It is never too late to pay tribute to the artists who have changed the game as we know it. ‘Bohemian Rhapsody‘ movie biopic was a highly successful tribute to Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of iconic Rock band Queen. In 2014, many artists got together to celebrate 50 years of The Beatles band. Ed Sheeran was among the stars who performed at The Beatles tribute show as well. And in 2019, we take a moment to celebrate the undeniable influence Elvis Presley had on music earning himself the title of ‘King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.’

The all-star tribute special on NBC was organized to celebrate 50 years since Elvis Presley’s “’68 Comeback” TV special on NBC, aired on December 3, 1968. The show marks a special moment in music history, when Elvis Presley returned to live stage to perform music after 7 years being involved in the movie business.

Ed Sheeran was among the many artists who took part in ‘Elvis All-Star Tribute’ special on NBC marking 50 years since that iconic moment in history. Artists such as Blake Shelton (host of the show) and Carrie Underwood are joined by Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town, Pistol Annies, Darius Rucker, Shawn Mendes, John Legend, Jennifer Lopez, Post Malone, John Fogerty, Josh Groban, Yolanda Adams, Alessia Cara and Adam Lambert for this tribute special.

Shawn Mendes covered “Hound Hog,” Adam Lambert covered “Blue Suede Shoes,” Blake Shelton covered “Suspicious Minds,” Carrie Underwood covered “How Great Thou Art,” Alessia Cara covered “Love Me Tender” and Kelsea Ballerini performed a very soulful “Always On My Mind” at the tribute show. Ed Sheeran was given the opportunity to perform one of the greatest hits by Elvis Presley-“Can’t Help Falling In Love.”

Ed Sheeran was accompanied by an ensemble of background singers who synced on hymns with Ed. The world’s most soulful ginger, Ed Sheeran, had his acoustic guitar to assist him as he shut his eyes and went into a trance to perform this tribute song. The outcome is just too beautiful.
