Kanye West finally confirmed the release date of his 2021 album ‘Donda’ and teased the first music from the album, a song titled “No Child Left Behind.” The video snippet released features American track star Sha’Carri Richardson.
This marks the official confirmation of the highly anticipated and seemingly forever delayed tenth studio album ‘Donda‘ by Kanye West. The album title is an honor to Ye’s late mother Donda, who passed away in 2007 due to complications from cosmetic surgery. The album was released on August 29, 2021. This is Kanye’s follow-up project to his 2019 album ‘Jesus Is King.’
Sha’Carri Richardson, 21, was one of America’s prominent hopes for gold at the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games starting now. However, the track star was suspended from the U.S. Olympic team after e tested positive for THC, a chemical found in marijuana. Her one-month suspension causes her to miss her highly hopeful 100-meter race. However, none of these stopped Sha’Carri Richardson from appearing in the teaser clip for “No Child Left Behind” by Kanye West, also a promotional campaign for Beats by Dre.
“No Child Left Behind” Lyrics Review and Song Meaning
The teased lyrics include Kanye West praising God for giving him strength in times when no one else was by his side.
Back again, I used my back against the wall
Never called on y’all, never count on y’all
Always count on God
Kanye West has been very open about her faith in Jesus in recent years. This is especially apparent throughout his last album ‘Jesus Is King.’
In the chorus of the song, Kanye settles into a melodic repetitive chant of God’s influence on him; “He’s done miracles on me.”
Stay tuned for the full release.
