BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge hosts a variety of artists weekly to perform their biggest hits as well as covers of big hits by other artists. Just no later than a month ago, Taylor Swift arrived at the studio to perform her big numbers from ‘Lover’ album as well as a Phil Collins’ cover. She was followed by acts such as Lana Del Rey, Jax Jones, Sam Fender, Mark Ronson, and Lewis Capaldi. The latter performed his global hit “Someone You Loved” along with a few more of his hits. He might not have realized that the same would have been repeated in the following edition of BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge.
Camila Cabello was the honoured guest for the last week’s edition of BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge. She went on to perform some of her biggest hits including “Liar” in a whole different light to the original version. Camila’s choice of her cover was Lewis Capaldi and his single “Someone You Loved.”
The beat was different, the pitch was different and the vocals were different, but we were able to feel the same emotions Lewis Capaldi poured into this song through Camila. Watch below.
