Calvin Harris’ 2019 return “Giant” has finally received a much-deserved a music video. This song is Calvin Harris’s first release in new year 2019. The song features an amazing vocal track by Rag’n’Bone Man. Both artists make an apperance in the music video, even though the video has a different story altogether.

The new song was released on January 11, 2019, and was immediately welcomed by the fans. This song follows Calvin’s 2018 hit “I Found You/Nilda’s Story” featuring benny blanco and Miguel.

“Giant” was well received within its genre–ranking at #11 on US Hot Electronic/Dance Songs chart by Billboard. The song also reached #7 in UK Singles Chart.

“Giant” stands as a motivational anthem for never giving up. The song references self to a giant capable of doing wonders; for an example, carrying people on your shoulders or crushing boulders with your bare feet. The song stands to empower and motivate us to be the best we can be.

The music video is surreal. There is a lot of imagery used throughout the music video. The key takehome facts are how the central character struggles in his life until he makes a promise to himself to better himself and works towards it. Until he breaks free from his own demons, he is not truly free to be the best of him.

The song and the video also plays an important role on being ‘lonely.’ There are several medications involved with the central character as long as he locks himself in his room, staring blankly at the ceiling. These demons run away once he joins the rest of the world in a field of dance. The video also suggests that he just might have found his partner.
