Julia Michaels and Selena Gomez Perform “Anxiety” Live at The Fonda
Julia Michaels and Selena Gomez are turning out to be real BFF goals. The two got together for their first-ever collaboration “Anxiety” in January 2019. However, before and after this collaboration, the two have been best friends on and off the spotlight.
“Anxiety is the lead single off of Julia Michael’s second EP ‘Inner Monologue Part 1.’ The album also contained another hit collaboration “What A Time” featuring Niall Horan.
At the infamous The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, Julia Michaels surprised her fans at the concert by bringing in Selena Gomez. This is the first time Julia and Selena performed their collaboration to a live audience.
The two of them requested all the fans in attendance to hug the person next to you, as a gesture of love and friendship. Hugging is also known to be a reliever of anxiety and stress. It was a nice setting up towards their song. Watch the performance below.
The two artists were in perfect sync throughout the performance, giving out happy vibes and exchanging melodious verses. They even invited the fans to perform the last chorus on their own, and the fans nailed it.
Julia Michaels is currently on tour following her EP release early this year. Next immediate stops on the tour include Portland-USA, Vancouver-Canada, Cuauhtemoc-Mexico and León-Mexico. Check more information on tours on the official website.
This month, Julia Michaels and Selena Gomez got matching tattoos-an arrow on each others arms when holding hands, point at each other.
The two were also spotted sharing a quick kiss on their lips live on stage.
On an Instagram post by Selena Gomez on November 12, 2019, she shared; “My love, my heart and my soul @juliamichaels 🖤.”
